Wall-flower

I just noticed this today, ivy growing in through the corner of the window frame! So pretty, and I am sure there could be many metaphors for this. Either way, I am sure it isn't good for the structure of the home. I think i'll let it continue to grow - for a while.

Aunt Julie & cousin Annie

Julie and Annie stayed in Manhattan for a few days, then joined us in Jersey for a few days. They took the Liberty Island ferry with Christian and Madeline to see Miss. Liberty (is she Miss. or Mrs. or Ms.?) anyway, it was great having them!

It's my birthday! it'smy birthday! Its my birthday!

I am one of those lucky people who, by chance was born on the same day as my mom! I feel this has given us a bond that is inseparable. She is a WONDERFUL person who I admire and cherish. And just to add icing on the cake, my niece Piper was, by chance born on

the same day!

Birthday morning our dear neighbor Susan brought over a cake that she and Madeline, Ellie and Annie have been working on during the week. It was a banana chocolate cake!

Then on Sunday, I was spoiled again by my BFF, she made dinner and an

awesome carrot cake. Another year surrounded by great people!

For my 31st birthday it was brought to my attention that I should ride a mechanical bull. Genius!! My awesome sister Julie was in town and some of my coolest friends came. We had a nice country dinner and talked until 11pm, then those who wanted to ride the bull were few (myself, sister Julie and Jennie). Then pretty much

everyone left besides Julie, Yvonne and myself, we stayed and danced until 1 in the morning! 2 days later I am STILL sadle sore, I've decided that if I ride this "bull" once a week - my inner thight my actually become tone! I'll have to bring Christian next time, he'd look extra HOT on that bull!
