Dinosaur Museum @ Thanksgiving Point

Madeline's one and only request was to see the Dinosaur Museum.

Zina!  The sand freaked her out!  It was SO funny!

Danielle's Bridal Shower.

My mom and I threw a bridal shower for my oldest niece today. I can't believe I don't have any pictures - ha! "Pictures" (thats her soon-to-be last name!)  We played the honeymoon game, and since Adam was in Australia, I played him - hat and all.  My mom and I designed the invites. and of course mom drew the cute little bride.

Spanky!

Spanky is the dog we got when we were first married.  When we moved to NYC, our apartment was way to small for such a big dog, so, my parents adopted him. He is such a great dog!  So he is 11 years old now, and his Dr. says he has a heart condition, with a few more years to live.  So sad!!

Ellie's Tattoo

Ellie thought it was time to get a tattoo, so Madeline, being the expert that she is as a tattoo artist, designed & drew Ellis tattoo!  How can you be mad, when it says "heart" mom??

I was tucking my kids into bed, and as I fluffed up Ellie's pillow for her to lay down, (she regularly tries to hide toys under her pillow.)  I found a box.  "Ellie" I said, "You know that you aren't suppose to hide toys under your pillow."  She says, "but mom, its my learning box."  How can you get mad at that?

Can't wait!

Less than 3 weeks away until dad gets to go to Utah and see the family! Hooray! Daddy can't wait!

Rafting, this by far was my funniest event! This is the "mild" ride. You have Karlee, Madeline, Allie & Hannah. After this ride is the "crazy" ride, I think Kayla & Hannah, maybe it was Karlee - that looked fun. Then there was the "Crazy sycho" ride. Nellie (Danielle) & I rode. We laughed the whole time & are swim suites were riding up, (I am glad we don't have a picture!!) we were in the air more than on the float. My arm, tummy and neck muscles are soar. I just had a magnificent time! Can't wait to go again! This was all new to me, I've only been on fishing boats before. What a joyous surprise!!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

We went to Granite's parade in Utah, my mom lived there a few years growing up.

Grandma and Karlee painted Madeline, Ellie and their cousins, Allie and Miles faces so they could walk in the parade. people applauded as they walked by AND they got a Popsicle when they had finished. I LOVE small town parades!!

To the left is the church my mom went to when she lived here as a teen. And to the right is Miles, after the parade he took off his clothes grabed his candy and snuck out to the front porch! Later, when his mom (Julie) asked what he was doing naked on the front pourch he said "how'd you know??"

After the Parade we had a BBQ at grandma and grandpa's. After eating we all played a game of softball on thier rather small backyard. it was a blast!
