Madeline's nine!

We did a "Movie Night" theme this year. Madeline invited all the girls from 3rd grade and only 6 couldn't come!  Christian set up the projector and we hung a big sheet up and they watched a movie on that. 

Our Little Furry Friend

I was taking a box of Korean Pears out to the back deck to keep chilled and as I was setting it down, I felt this thing starring at me.  I looked up and nearly had a heart-a-tack! It sat there for over an hour looking like a giant rat.  What creeped me out even more, was when it disappeared, I had no idea where it was lingering!

Tortilla soup

We had the missionaries over last night with an investigator.  I normally make my Tortilla soup in the summer.  But I was having a craving for it.  I think it is SO pretty.  This soup was created from many different recipes, I took my favorite ingredients from each one and made my own. - The mangoes are from my friends guacamole recipes and add a nice touch. If you want the recipe ask and I might give it to you :)
